NOTHING IS DIFFICULT FOR US – Reply of a brave heart

The above words are from an Indian commando who had just finished the operation cyclone (operation that went on the Hotel Taj). As a reply for the question “How difficult it was for you to battle against the terrorist” by a reporter the Indian commando spelled the following words “NOTHING WAS DIFFICULT FOR US IN FACING THE TERRORIST”. It shows the spirit of the people who actually fought. Those words won’t come from a person who works to earn for him. Probably because he serves (actually I can’t and won’t put the word worked here even though they are paid) for the country and the civilians, he could have spelled out those words. I am proud to see the service they (the security departments) do and the security they provide, risking their life. They have succeeded in their operation and a few security persons have lost their life in providing the security for us (the Indians). I salute each and every security person for their brilliant work. The worrying factor is that the hard work is don by the army men who risked their life and the bleady politicians is gonna take the reward. If it happens this time too its a shame on us(Every Indian).
Also I heard that the General Manager of the Hotel Taj had lost his wife and his two children in the very same hotel during the attack. Even then he was there in the hotel lobby providing the information (about the hotel infrastructure/layout, so and so...) to the security till the operation got over. Hats off to him for his service.

Some of my questions to the Indian Government

Is it yet another terror attack as it had happened in the past?
We don’t need a Govt. that says “yes, yet another”. And a Govt. is not meant for that.

What steps were taken after the previous attacks?
We don’t need such steps that can’t provide security and that has allowed another attack.

Is the 500000 rupees a compensation for a person’s life?
Expecting the response for this question very sharply. However a human life can’t be compensated.

How much compensation for the Policemen’s life?
Is it the same 500000? I have to quote something here. When a sports person wins something you the Govt. offer him an amount that I’m not going to mention that is several times larger than the one you offer for the policemen/army/commando who has sacrificed his life for the safety of the people that includes every Indian. I feel bad that a person who sacrifices his life is offered much lower than the sportsmen who won somewhere. Both of them have brought pride to the nation. The nations should have felt more proud about the army men than the sports men. Right?

Have you succeeded in providing security to the public?
If “yes” why such attacks happen; that too not once in a while but frequently. If “NO” why don’t you leave way for someone who can provide that security?

Visitor’s comments are most welcomed...

Should nobody from other states come and work in Maharashtra?

Sorry to comment the above statement during this moment as the loss have been lives that can’t be compensated by any means. I want to ask the persons who supported the above statements. It was the NSG/MARCOS and some other security departments who took the charge on terrorists and rescued several people even by loosing their lives.
I damn sure that not everyone in the security services are from Maharashtra. We dint think of the words you spoke earlier this year. I prefer to be an Indian to Tamilan. Yes, state is important, but not more important than the nation. I consider you as an Indian and you consider me as a guy from other state. I am not pointing out every people over there but those who supported the statement. It’s only as Indians we are grouped together and what for you want to go away from us.
The only way to eliminate terrorism from our nation is to join our hands without seeing the differences within us but the similarity that every Indian has. Also the only way to eliminate terrorism world wide is to join hands with everyone from every nations in the world. The secret lies here

“Partitions and differences are the one that initiates terrorism and it could be eliminated only if everyone finds the similarity that is the humanity among the other people.”
Join hands with every human to eliminate terrorism.

Is a politician’s life valued more than a civilian’s?

There was an attack on parliament a few years back and the rescue operation was that much forceful as a result there was no politician who lost their life. But in this attack the rescue process would have been made bit faster by providing more army men and sufficient weapons. It’s only after the NSG (National Security forces) and the commandos and some other security departments had arrived the real operation started. I damn sure that if there was some loss of lives in the parliament they might have thought of improving the security and it would have been a different situation now. Otherwise see it as this, if a few politicians were taken as hostage during the terror attack in Mumbai, would it the same way Govt. would have handled the situation. Would it have taken this much time to rescue. Would the same amount of army men would have been used for the rescue process? Many politicians have security guards with them all the time where as there is no security to the public. There needs a change in the whole system. It’s not the ruling party or the opposing party who are going to bring the necessary changes. Someone has to step forward; it would be fine if the one comes from the younger side. Hope the change comes sooner and let that change takes India safely to better standards

Where are we (the Indians) going from here?

It’s not the first time we are being attacked. With the heat there are lots of words spoken by the people who are in responsible/authorized posts. They will have lots of investigations and plan. That’s fine. But I find none of the plans being implemented. There is no sense having a plan alone without implementation. Whenever there is an attack it’s probably the civilians and the security persons are the one who suffer. Is it because of this the politicians are not taking proper actions against terrorism. Every responsible person is put under high security all the time. It’s us (the Indians) who elected them. Fine. But they are not providing the security for the public. I here by ask the Govt. to take more attention on the public.
Yes, we can’t predict terrorist attacks, but sure it can be handled in a better manner. I don’t find any fault on the security departments. They are doing well and good. The problem is with the politicians. Not only those who are ruling now but also the previous parties who had ruled the nation. First job of the Govt. is to make sure that security is provide to the civilians. If they couldn’t do that what’s the need for the so called Govt. I feel sorry to say that no Govt. had provided the needed security in India. Probably this incident would have shown the public the true nature of the attack and hats off to the media who had the full coverage and updated news throughout. Sure lots of questions will be put forward to the Govt. and that’s how the public have to make a perfect Govt. Hope from here we the Indians can make the Govt. work according to the needs of the public.

We salute the Indian army/Security Departments

The above two are the policemen who was shot dead by the terrorists in the battle

For all those brave officers who had a fight with the terrorists to rescue the hostages and kill the terrorists, hats off to them. It would be easy for the security departments if they have to terminate the terrorists alone. The real test came as they have to consider the safety of the hostages under the terrorist’s control. The army had to be slow and very sensitive in their approach. Slowly but steadily they marched towards their goal. Sure, they might have over powered the terrorists within a few minutes if they had no care about the hostages. They had their positions set and took their time to plan and executed it excellently. It would have been worse if they had charged up to the terrorists. There were some people (approximately 15 to 20) of the security departments who lost their lives in the fight. For all those who took part in the battle not only to rescue the hostages and kill the terrorists but also to hold the pride of the nation I salute you people. Here I stand not only for me but for all the Indians. For those who lost their lives over there in the battle, you are the real heroes who can never be forgotten.

Who was behind the attack? Is this their master plan?

The two persons in the above picture are not the army men. Its beleived to be two of the terrorists who attacked Mumbai.

The terrorists had no care of their lives. If they had minded sure they would have not had such an attack. The attack was very well done by them. They have chosen the places well so that they have some time before the Indian army get into act. Actually they would have planned this at least before 3 or 4 months. The terrorists are well aware of the places and the infra structure of the hotels they attacked. It is not possible for them to have the information without the help of some local. Might be its not their major plan. Also there is no confirmation of how many terrorists entered India and by which means. It would be rather bad to know if lots of them have entered. May be this attack is to divert the whole nation towards the attack and they might have a simultaneous operation somewhere. Its our security departments duty to make sure about these details from the terrorists they have arrested.

Motto of the Mumbai attack

There are several occasions has suffered terrorist attacks. This is a new level of attack by the terrorists as they targeted multiple places and importantly they were showing their faces. They dint even have a mask on their faces. Also the hostage situation was taken in the midst of a city. Whenever there comes a situation of taking hostage the terrorist will put forward some statements/conditions and what they actually need. But this attack was bit new as they dint put forward anything.Probably their motto was to disturb the daily normal life of the Indians. Sure the terrorists would have known that it would be their last few hours they are going to be alive when they had just started the attack. Probably they need some terrorism to be spread in India as they found its one of the nations they couldn’t have their upper hand. They just wanted the nation to see some shake in financial basis as the foreigner would opt out of Indian visits so that they could find some wining over there. The terrorists have had a bomb blast instead to kill the civilians. But their aim wasn’t that. It’s just the beginning and they wanted to create some panic on the public.

Mumbai terror attack

By 26th nov 2008 wednesday around 21.00 hrs some terrorists wearing jeans and t-shirts entered different parts of the Mumbai city. Probably they would have come by boat as they have found a rubber boat near by . Its also expected that they would have entered through The Gate way of India. They got into almost 11 different places in the city . Most of them were star hotels and few others were the railway stations. The places they entered are
Taj
Trident
Wadi Munder
Santa Cruz
Ville Parle
Girjaum
Leopold Cafe
CST
Nariman House
and other few

Of the places Taj and Trident were most targeted and the terrorists have taken hostage of the people over there. Several people were asked by the hotel managenment of Taj to stay safe in their rooms locking the door. The management has connections with the people staying inside their rooms and ask them to be calm.
HOTEL TAJ
Several gun shots were heard frequently once in an hour or so till now by morning. And several times there was smoke coming out of the building. Several people were rescued. Several police were crowded in the attacked places. Not only police, the army is also called and some other security departments have also joined them. Lots of ambulances and fire engines are present near the attacked area and slowly the security departments ie, army, police so and so have taken positions to have an encounter on the terrorists . Probably by 27th noon the operation will be over. The problem over there is that some people were asked to stay in the room by the hotel management and the army need to separate out them from the terrorists.

TRIDENT
Here too the same situation prevails as in Taj, about 200 people were under the terrorists . Not sure about the count. Here too army and police were crowded infront and the security departments are setting positions. Here too there were gun shots .

Its beleived that about 100 were killed in the attack including police men, security staff, hotel staff, civiilians and few foreigners and also a few terrorists. Almost its one of the biggest terror plans executed in India. The terrorists not only have targeted the Mumbai city but the whole world as i heard a news from a news channel that they(terrorists) asked passports of the foreigners in Taj hotel.
The BSE NSE is to be shut today and the schools and colleges are also shut today and the normal life in the city has been diturbed. Almost we could find no one in the streets.

The Prime Minister of India gives a talk to the civilians in India probably by today evening. Sure he is going to talk only after the army has encountered the terrorists in the attacked places.

AOE addicted

Actually I knew AOE only before an year.. I played it for some days and felt bored as i used the cheat codes there. Later on i dint have touch with the game for about an year or so. I finished my college life and went to chennai by june 2008. There i stayed with some of my friends taking a house for rent. For the first few days everyone was much eager to search a job for themselves. Later on days passed and one of my friends started playing AOE and i found him playing it for some 5 or 6 hours . I was shocked when i heard that he had played it for a full day without doing anything.

Days passed on and many of my friends started playing that and everyone will discuss it almost every time they are together . I felt very bored as i had no interest in that game. Later i too thought of playing that and asked a friend to help me to get used to that . He heped me and i came to know what the game is about and how to play that. It was about a month before when i came to knew about this. From that day onwards till this day i used to play it atleast for 5 hours a day. It is One of the best games i have ever played . To be frank many of them are addicted to this game .. Though i feel good when i play that whenever i think of that later i feel very bad as i consoder the hours i played it as wasted time in my life. To the persons who are addicted to AOE,just think of 'how many hours u play the game'. Almost every minute you are wasting there.. Its always better not to get addicted on anything. Just try to minimize the time u spend over there. I just have reduced to 2 hrs a day .. Probably i'l try to miminize it yet. Hope you too do..

Why Destructive weapons?

Each and every nation spends lotz n lotz of money in the research field . Ya when you take a serious note of it you could find that many researchs are going on building weapons . Its to make their army stronger. When you consider it as to strenghen the army then the real fact is that they(the country) has no thrust on their neighbouring countries or the remaining countries of the world. Whats the need to strengthen the army?? If the nation tries to terminate the terrorists its better each and every nation can join hands to do that job. Everyone may know that it would be easier to eradicate terrorism as a group than as single.

There are certain rules that atombombs are violated and when you see they put a large amount on that . Is it for pride and prestige . You are not going to use that as a weapon for sure and some nations have even signed an agreement that they will never do . Then whats the use in having it. And why that much researches.. To me its just a waste of time .. Everyone needs a peacefull world without war but the individual nations will manufacture weapons and the destructive things. IS the words they say are true from their heart . My guess is that each and every nation wants to rule the world . If at all a planet with living beings is discovered and there comes a war between them and our world there wont be peace filled in the whole world.

The nasty Duckworth Lewis method

Each and every player who is following cricket may have heard the word Duckworth Lewis method . Its a method for recalculating the targets if the game is interrupted due to rain /bad light or by any means .. The board of cricket found it to be the best suited one in such cases . Probably they have to put more restrictions on the D/L method .. There is no problem if the target is being set before the start of the innings . But the real problem arises when it is applied during the second innings of play or after the play has stopped due to some reasons.

My suggestion is that, if D/L method is to be applied both the teams should be informed atleast before 10 overs. Its biy difficult to implement it . If at all they couldn't do that its better to have a match without no result . Comsider the SA match during the 1992 world cup . After the calculation it was 22 runs they have to make it from 1 ball. At times the method behaves funny. Anyway past is past and each and every one may know that its bit funny at times. But no one is trying to find a solution for that .. Sure there will be a better solution than this.. Each and everyone try their own solution and have a post to the ICC .

The Seventh Sense

The sixth sense of the human is his/her capability to analyse a situation and and act accordingly. Most of the humans have the sixth sense and each and every one will use it in many occasions. The sixth sense is not only for analysing the situation and finding the right choice but to implement what you have find it to be correct. Most of the people just analyse the situation and just sees which will benefit them more and acts accordingly. Selfishness comes there and hides the sixth sense. Not everyone does as i said before, but most of them do.

There are a few peoples who does the opposite ie who analyses the situation with their sixth sense and implements the same without making a note of whether they are benefitted or not . The seventh sense comes there . The one that makes them to implement without analysing whether they are benefitted or not is the seventh sense. That sense will have no selfishnessin their mind but are the well-wishers who can be kept next to God. I dont beleive in the concept of "Maatha, pitha, guru, theivam" ( Mom,dad, master,God) . I keep God at the top and the persons having 7th sense next to him ..

Corruptions and mal practices during long journeys in BUS

I had a travell from chennai to Nagercoil 2 days back . The travell time is almost 15 hrs by bus and 12 hours by train .As i dint get a seat in train i used the bus service for reaching my native. The journey started around 1530 hrs on 19th nov. By 1930 hrs they stopped the bus and askedt the passengers to have their dinner and the bus wont stop elsewhere for dinner. The area was very outer from the city/town and there was 2 hotels and two bakeries alone. Probably we could get the food for the dinner there itself. The previous time i had the dinner and i dint like it so i thought of having some snacks ie some biscuits and some branded cool drinks.. So i went to the bakery and asked for two "GOOD DAY" biscuit packets and a half litre pepsi .. Th shop keeper gave me and asked me to pay rs 57 .00(ruppes). I dint expect this much amount as i knew the MRP of a "GOOD DAY" packet is rs 12.00 and hat of pepsi is rs 20.00 . Totally it will be rs 44 . I asked the shopkeeper and he doesn't want me to argue there . So i handed those to the shop keeper and returned to bus without having dinner. Actually i did that, not because of the rs 13.00 alone but i dont want to be got cheated by someone that too after i knew that i'm being cheated.

Coming to the point.. Noyt only myself but each and every people who use the bus service might have experienced this . Its ok for me as i'm am an adult and i can adjust the hunger. But for the children and a bit aged people it becomes a problem and they have to get it from there. This makes the shopkeeper more comfortable as some how his business goes on even if he has fixed a very high price . Some transporting staffs stop the buses their as they might gain something over there . I dont want to go harsh on the transporting staff but the shopkeepers. This matter should be made to come under the eyes of the Govt. by some means .

There are a lots of ways to stop this corruptions. Its possible that the Govt. can maintain some hotels in the road sides of the outer areas and can put it as a rule that te busses should stop in any of the Govt. hotels. The prices should be as mormal, so that the passengers will feel comfortable and the Govt. too can earn a bit from the hotel also providing some employment. Another way is to have some persons appointed to make sure that the products are sold within the MRP. Hope this blog will com under some responsible persons view and he does the necesary actions. I too will try to do something if possible.

Problem with my mobile

Actually i'm using a mobile for about 4 yrs and i had no problem in handling that till now.. But the problem started a few days back. While i was returning home by bus o was having a mobile chat with my friend the mobile got switched off . Before i tried to swtch on the mobile it got switched on . This continued for a while and i thought it would be because of some virus that has got either  into my meemory card or mobile.. So i handed the mobile to a service centre near by my home and after servicing i found no problem with that for about two days .

Just after the two days again the same problem started .  Most of the times when i talk through my mobile it'll get switched off and it irritates me a lot .. Even when i message  or try to read a message it may get switched off.. Not all the time it gets switched off but often it does. Also the display light wont gets off at times and so the charge goes down in a short period. If i had my keypad locked then at times it will show that "press unlock and then * " . Also the batter will be low within 5 or 6 hours. At times it shows no point in the battery charge but the mobile will be switched on . These are the problems in my mobile and interestingly i;m using that mobile for about 2 weeks after the problem has occured . I dont want to change my mobile as i feel very comfortable with that .  But its not possible using this mobile as i have missed a lot of calls . Now i'm in search of a new mobile.

No to Caste wise Reservation

If you are an Indian you might atleast have heard the word castewise reservation. In India there are lots of castes and each and every people come under some caste. And each caste comes under some category. They have given some status to each category .

They( then Govt,) found that the castes belonging to some category are economically weak and those in some other categories are well and good. Also they could find that the well developed are developing further and those who are weak are going down further. So the plan at that time was to give some time for the weakened people to get up from their poor status so that they too could come up among the society . For implementing the plan they gave some reservations to the weakened people. That was not for life time  but for some time period.

The plan was implemented and it worked a bit and some people came up but not everyone. So they extend the duration . Ya, its fine that they extended the duration. But the problem there was the people who got developed in the previous reservation time duration also got benefited . Also the plan was not implemented properly. The problem began after a few days. The people who came under that category fought for some reservation and had a thought that it was one of their rights.

Also many people who had come up using the reservation are still getting benefited. The govt. needs to re analyse the reservations because its not the needy people who are getting benefited.

Back to back hundreds for Yuvraj

Yuvi is in fine touch and have scored back to back hundreds .. In the 7 match ODI series  against England Yuvi has scored babck to back tonnes in the first two one dayers. The frst one with a splendid stirke rate up to the 180's. And the second ton with a strike rate around 100. The second one wasmore special as it was a rescuing operation when they were 3 down just for 29 runs. He began  bit slowly and after having the eye in he started playing his shots all around the wicket . Had a good partnership with Gautham and lasted till the 43rd over ..

Sure he is one of the strongest contender for the player of the series award.  Though its very early to predict with a form he is in and the hundreds he has under his belt he'l have confidence and sure he can contribute a lot in the following matches. By scoring a century in the next match he can earn the fame of the player scoring a hat trick ton . Ther is an oppurtunity for him to set the record of scoring the most number of runs and also most centuries in a 7 match series.

In two matches he has scroed 256  runs with a not out which raises his average to 256 with the scoring rate of 128 runs per 100 balls. Also he has taken 2 wickets in the series in 9 overs giving only 27 runs with an economy rate of 3.00 . He has hit a total of 8 sixes in the two matches with  2 sixes in the second match.  He has also included his name in the set of players who has scored a hundred and took 4 wickets in the same match. One of the brilliant performances in the  cricket world.

With some super performances he has made sure that he no moe wants to miss the 5 day matches .  Probably he's the one who can fill the place left by Ganguly.

Yuvraj Singh - The left handed destructer of cricket ball

Every cricket fans might have known the name .  One of the cleanest strikers of the cricket ball. He's well known for his big hitting ability from his earlier part of the career. He came in to the ODI's when he was 19 against the kenyans wher he dint get the oppurtunity to bat. But it dint take much time to establish a regular place in the ODI team. He scored a magnificiant 84 against the australians which earned him the popularity among the Indians.

One of his finest performance was against the English men in Lords where himself and his team mate Kaif guided India to chase a score of 325 and win the match. The standard of his game raised from that match and became one of the star members in the team.

And he made a history in T20 format of the game by smashing six sixes in a single over of Broad. In the same match he scored 58 in 16 balls . His 50 came in just 12 balls, probably which will stay as the record for ever. He had some splendid innings throughout the T20 world series in which India won the finals. Though he had made remakably in T20 s and ODI s he was not a regular member in the test side. There too he has made some good performances and hope he gets into the test side sooner strongly.

No one can finish writing without talking about his fielding abilities. One of the finest fielders Indian cricket has ever produced. He's the one who brings energy to the indian fielding. Had took some breath taking catches and some brilliant run outs. He is a very handy partimer and has provided break throughs an the needed time.

He is capable of scoring runs in all the sides of the ground. Comparatively he's stronger in the legs. One of the greatest puller of the ball. An attacking batsman with a high bat-lift. He's well known for the off-side punch of the good length ball. One of the finest cricketer who can win a match single handedly. Hats off to his service to Indian cricket.

Great sunday

It was a great sunday for me as i enjoyed the whole day with three of my friends. We four(mysellf and 3 of my friends) watched vaaranamaayiram a tamil film starred by Surya. Watched the 08 30 hrs show without even having breakfast in Ahirami maal, chennai. The film was ok . We could find the effort put by Surya for that film. First half moved quickly where as the second half was bit slower. After finishing the movie we had dinner in a restaurant by 12 30 hrs. Every one felt tired as we walked lmost 2 or 3 kms in search for a good hotel . One of the friends room was near by ie a 10 minute travel by bus. We went to his room and had some rest. Two guys slept and myself and another friend watched the highlights of the India vs England ODI played on 14th nov 2008. Also watched Mr.Bean program in pogo. Later we too slept.

Almost by 17 00 hrs we got up and as planned earlier we went to T.Nagar for shopping. One of my friend bought a shoe and another one purchased some dresses for his elder btothers daughter. Later we had som snacks near the road side and  had a very long walkfor about 45 minutes. We would have almost covered 4 or 5 kms.  Shared the funny things that happened in our school life and we couldn't even think of returing home. After having some plans about the future we again entered a hotel for dinner. Had  a nice dinner and on returning to the railway station nearby we had  a lemon soda. Finally we left to our respective places from T.Nagar railway station. Just after i returned i'm writing this post as this is one of my memorable days in my life.

Beleive.. its a moving train

Will u believe that if i say its a moving train??

I was surprised when i came to know that it was a moving train. Hope this is the train trip in which maximum number of people would have travelled. Actually it was a festival time and  the people there in the picture are returning home for enjoying the festival with their family. It was a peak time and there is no place for the people even to have a foot inside the train . Everyone climbed the train and created  places of their own. Its the eagerness that everyone shows to reach their native and have some splendid  time with their families. One of the dangerous journey every one standing outside the train would have had.  And to my knowledge everyone reached their places safely in train.

Could it be treated as a corruption??

Whether or not its a corruption its always better to avoid such journeys.

Chennai Sub-urban electric trains and corruptions

Most of the people in chennai would have used the electric trains for transport. As trains are quicker than buses most of the people prefer electric trains to buses. Ya. its one of the better services Government has implemented. Hats off to them. Still there are some areas they have to concentrate to provide a better service.

I too have used the service quite a few times. One day i was returning to my home in electric train and while i detrained the ticket collector checked for tickets . I showed my ticket and i climbed the bridge to move out of the railway station. I could find some people fined for not taking the tickets. Around 20 persons were fined in my stop. And some might have escaped. I had a similar experience another day.

Just try to calculate how many of them would use the train without taking tickets and how much loss it creates to the Government. Roughly calculating, if some 100 people dont take tickets for a trip in electric train and if the ticket fare is rs 5, around rs 500 is lost to the government for a single trip. Calculating the return trip it'l be around 1000. If the train has 10 to and fro trips per day around rs 10000 is lost and if 10 trains provide service then around rs 100000 is lost per day. Hope I've calculated to the minimum . I you are a electric train user in chennai you too might have known.

If there comes a stage such that if only a person who gets a ticket can enter the train and if somebody travelled would be fined for sure, then almost a few hundred thousands will be earned more than now. Sorry, the word earned wont suite it, as its the actual fare to be collected. Consider a bus and there it is almost impossible to travell without a ticket. But in case of electric trains till now such a situation has not come. Everyone will feel that it will be tough for a single person to check the persons of the whole train. Ya, its true. The needed number of persons shall be put in the stations to check the people for tickets there by providing employment to a few. With the increase in amount from the trains by implementing/following the rules properly, salary for the newly appointed persons could be given. Even it exceeds, it doesnt matter as we have provided employment for a few and have disciplined the public.

I am not trying to say that every people r not disciplined but a few and those who have travelled without a ticket in train may knew it. I've written this blog hoping that some day at sometime some responsible person would read this  and take the necessary actions.

Pixel Advertising

Its one of the ways of advertising through internet. Actually it gained popularity during the later half of 2005 . Alex Tew, a then 21 year old student from student from Cricklade, Wiltshire, England had to earn money by some means for his university exams. He created a website named " The Million Dollar Homepage " . The index page contained 1000 x 1000 pixels and his idea is to sell each pixel for US $1 . An advertiser can buy a minimum of 10 x 10 pixel to advertise ie to make available of his site url in the million dollar home page. With lots of doubts in him whether the idea will work he just worked on it.

Within 3 days he sold his first 20 x 20 pixel to an online music shop. Thanx for the one who bought. With in a week he earned enough money for his 1st year studies. And the final 1000 pixels was put for auction on ebay and on Jan 11 2006 the pixels went for a winning bid of $38,100.00 with a whole amount of $1,037,100 for the entire million pixels.

Though he earned a lot he couldnt continue his studies because of his popularity in the midst of people.

A lot of pixel websites has come but none of the sites have earned such a popularity.

Atlast my friend

I used to reach the college by van. Almost 20 students and a few staffs accompany me daily in van on reaching the college. A girl who is my friend now will also come by van. She too joined the college with me but she chose a different stream of study. I wished to have friendship with her. I had these thoughts in my heart from my 1st year studies itself . Though i liked her and wished to have friendship i had no guts to go and talk to her. I wont even smile at her if i see her somewhere out. Days passed and till the last year of my college life i continued the same on seeing her.

In the last few days of the college life everyone will ask their friends to write autograph for them in some diary/slam book. That girl asked me to scribble some words on her autograph diary. I had a few words saying that " though we have been doing our studies in the same college and had travelled in the same van for almost 4 years you havent had a smile on me. And i feel that it would have been better if we have had some good relationship " . And scribbled a few nice quotes and tried to impress her over there. Actually i got the diary on a saturday evening and gave it to her on monday morning.
I was very eager to return home by van as i thought atleast she would have a smile on seeing me. But as always nothing of that sort happened. Later i came to know that she hadn't read the words i wrote as she handed over the diary to some other friends of her.

And the next day morning I asked her to scribble something on my autograpg diary. She had a smile and i believed that she had read my words. She returned the diary after 2 days as she dint come to college the next day. She had written that "not only her but i too dint smile at her". Also she had some wishes for my future.

I had robbed her mobile number from her diary which she gave me to write autograph. After a few days i used to chat with her and she too responded well. From that we became good friends and atlast i got her friendship. She is the last friend that i earned during my college life. If i have to point out a few caring friends of mine for all time, she will be one among them. A loving and a caring friend i am gifted with.

Swathi park

Swathi park is located near our college. Actually its a garden by the side of a river that gives a nice look to the park. There is a small restaurant/canteen inside the park. Whenever myself and two of my close friends bunk the classes in the noon session we just go to the park and order some food items. With in half an hour we will have the food items in the table and we will try to eat as slowly as possible. Actually the food will be prepared only after the customers order and that will be comfortable for us(those who bunk the classes and some how pass the time). Sitting on the round table we guys would have funnny conversations making fool of other friends and the comedies that we had in our colleges. Later we will have a coffee or tea and hear songs in mobile phones and watch the children playing in the river. Its only after leaving the park we would think of seeing the time as its one of the places where we can spend the free time and relax ourselves. The arrangements in the park are well and good. Also its one of the places each and everyone who bunks the classes from our college would have visited. I hope that park wont face any financial crisis till the college is open and guys like myself joins that college.

I completed my college before 6 months and while i left the college the last day we three went to that park and had some emotional times over there. I can never forget those priceless moments we had in Swathi park. One of my college friends made a phone call and i just remembered Swathi park funs which made me to write this post.

How to make your pc faster

Remember when you first purchased your computer, the operating system would boot in a few seconds and the Programs would open as soon as you double clicked. Three years later and those days are blurred memories. What happened?

You've gone through numerous automatic updates to your Windows operating system. These came in the form of small downloads over time. All the while, you have been adding new applications to your PC. Office applications, messengers, games, and utilities have been installed. Each of these programs have likely added a new startup item, causing your boot process to become larger and larger.

Each day you've spent hours surfing the internet, accumulating thousand of temporary files. Most likely you've picked up some unwanted files containing viruses, adware, and spyware.

Here are 6 simple steps to turn the clock back on your aging computer.

1. Uninstall any unused programs. Go to the start button, open control panel (in classic view), choose add/remove programs. Anything that you have installed and no longer need, you can remove from here.

2. Remove programs from startup. Go to the start button and click Run. Type "msconfig" and press enter. Choose the startup tab. You can remove most programs you see listed here without any consequences. If you aren't sure what something is, "google" it to be sure it's not a necessary file for your system.

3. Download CCleaner (It's free) from ccleaner . Install it. Click the "Analyze" button under Cleaner. When it is finished click the "Run Cleaner" button. Next Choose the Registry option. Click "Scan for issues" and after that has finished click "Fix selected issues."

4. Download AVG free edition. Install it and run a full system scan. Choose "Move to vault" for any infected files.

5. Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (yes, also free) from Malwarebytes. Install, run the full scan and choose to remove what it finds.

6. Defragment your hard disk. Go to Start->Programs->Accessories->Systems Tools->Disk Defragmentor. Click analyze and follow the recommendation to defragment

While there a number of things you can do to speed up your computer one of the most important things you can do is to get your hands on a registry cleaner.

Registry cleaners are very easy to use, and their benefits are huge.

What is the "Registry?"

Your computer's registry is essentially a central directory in which all of your Windows settings and options are stored. The information contained within the registry includes entries for such things as hardware, software, users, user preferences, policies, etc.

What does a Registry Cleaner do?

Over time, due to the installation of new programs, the removal of old or unused programs and the constant updating and patching we do to our computer's software, your registry will most likely become corrupt. This corruption leads to errors, blue screens, crashes, and a severe decrease in system performance.

What a registry cleaner does is scans your registry for corrupt entries and it fixes them. Whether it is unused entries that are just taking up valuable space , missing entries, or entries that contain incorrect information, a registry cleaner will go through your registry line by line and fix anything that it finds to be corrupted.

Once this occurs, your operating system as well as all the software you have installed will be able to find what it needs in a much more efficient manner, which results in an increase in the speed and performance at which your computer can perform tasks - essentially it will speed up your computer tremendously.

So if you are sick and tired of a painfully slow computer and are wondering what you can do today that will make your computer faster, go out and get your hands on a top of the line registry cleaner - you'll be amazed at the difference once you have a clean and efficient registry again.
Curious to know what the absolute Best Registry Cleaner on the market is? Visit TheBestRegistryCleaners today to find out what one registry cleaner will increase your computer's speed and performance much more than any other cleaner available.

Quiz - How the word quiz came into existence

While i was going through a book i got an interesting information about " how the word "QUIZ" came into existence. I just want to share it with u guys.
Long long ago a group of friends met in an evening party near a hotel. They had some funny chats with them . This continued for a while and suddenly a friendly quarrel arose within them. The cause of the quarrel is that one of the friends told that it is very difficult to create a word and make it existing within the people. Another one opposed that saying it isn't that much difficult and atlast they came to a decision that if the opposing friend can create a word within a day then we can conclude that its easy to create a word and every one dispersed.
The one who accepted the challege that he can create a word within a day thought for a while and went to a chocolate shop and bought a good amount of chocolates. Later that night he went to different places and distibuted the chocolates to the children in those places and asked them to scribble the word/letters "QUIZ" and put a question mark after that, ie "QUIZ?" in whe walls of the streets. The childrens got the chocolates and did the job they were assigned to.
The next day morning people found the word "QUIZ ?" in the walls of the street. They couldnt understand what the hell is written in the walls and every one began to think of that and find the answer. The reporters too came there and it (the word "QUIZ") became popular through the medias available that time and thus the word QUIZ became popular and came into existence. The meaning of the word wasnt found for days and thus it means " the unknown answer " . As days passed the meaning has slightly changed . Now the word is known almost by everyone. It now a days denote " game or mind sport in which the players (as individuals or in teams) attempt to answer questions correctly " .

Diego Maradona - biography

Diego Armando Maradona is arguably the greatest footballer that has ever put on a pair of boots. He is born in the slums of Villa Fiorito near Buenos Aires as the fifth of eight children. Maradona enters professional football at the astonishing age of 15. By the time he turns 16, Diego is called in the senior national squad of Argentina. Regardless of his talent, Diego is considered too young by coach Cesar Menotti, who rejects him from his selection for the 1978 World Cup. Bitterly disappointed, Maradona watches the tournament from home as his country wins gold. In the following four years, Diego dominates his country's domestic league and is eventually added to the Argentine squad for Spain 1982.
Argentina advances from the first stage of the tournament by losing to Belgium, but beating Hungary and Salvador. Maradona manages to leave his mark with two beautiful, yet not critical goals. In the the second stage of the tournament, Maradona is manhandled by his Italian marker Claudio Gentile. Diego's frustration gets him sent off. Argentina fails to advance and Diego is again suppressed from unleashing his full potential. Although unsuccessful, the brilliance of the Argentine footballer does not go unnoticed and after the World Cup, he is picked up by European powerhouse Barcelona. By 1984, Maradona had established himself in Barca and is picked up by the Italian club Napoli.

At the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, Maradona makes his return on the World stage in a spectacular fashion. After leading his team to a quarter final against England, Diego steals the attention of millions with both his controversial character and technical brilliance. The fuss around the Argentina-England encounter is further elevated by the Falkland Islands conflict, which at that time had turned both
countries against each other.Diego opens the game 1-0 by striking the ball with his hand over the English goalkeeper Shilton. Unnoticed by the referees, the mishap is ruled a goal. Five minutes later, Maradona single handedly takes the ball through the entire English defense with a slalom from midfield right down to the goal line. After the match, when confronted with the video footage of the illegal goal, Maradona replies simply "Even if there was a hand, it must have been the hand of God." Maradona silenced his critics by deciding the following semi and final matches. By scoring two goals in the first and with an assist in the second, Maradona practically earns the World Cup for his nation.
Maradona's influence on his teammates was carried over to his club side Napoli, as they reached unprecedented heights, winning their very first and second Scudetto (1997 and 1990) and the UEFA Cup in 1988/99.

At Italy 1990, all eyes are on Argentina and its brightest star Diego Maradona. Diego comes close to replicating his success from four years ago. With Maradona's ability, Argentina defeats Brazil, Yugoslavia and Italy on its way to the final. Most memorable is the semi-final match between Argentina and Italy played at Diego's club home Naples. To the torment of Maradona, the fans at his own club stadium boo him during the match. Nevertheless, Argentina eliminates Italy after a penalty shootout. The final of the 1990 World Cup, leaves Diego helpless as Argentina are defeated 0-1 by West Germany with a goal from a questionable penalty.
After the loss against West Germany, Maradona's career plummets. In March of 1991, he tested positive for doping and is banned from football for 15 months. Maradona refuses to return back to Napoli after the World Cup incident and transferrs to Sevilla for a year. He eventually goes back to Argentina with Newell's Old Boys.

The 1994 World Cup confirms that Diego's career in international football is over. He is suspended again after failing yet another doping test. Hurt by his absence, Argentina is eventually eliminated by Romania in the second stage.
Shortly after, Diego takes on a new career path as a coach. He fails miserably again, unable to remain at a single club for more than four months. By 1995, Maradona is forced to return to the game as a player. He goes back to his former club Boca Juniors, and remains there until his last match on 25th of October 1997. Five days later, during his 37th birthday, Maradona announces his retirement from football. Up until 2001, Diego remains away from the playing pitch, periodically entering rehab for cocaine abuse. Diego plays his farewell match on the 10th of November 2001 against a select team comprised by some of the greatest footballers in the game including Ferrara, Suker, Stoichkov, Cantona, Higuita, and Romario. One year earlier, Maradona is voted Best Football Player of the Century by a global Internet poll. Controversy is stirred yet again, by his nearly unanimous victory. FIFA, who find Maradona's personal image as the 'King of Football' unacceptable, decide to give the same award to Pelé as the Best Footballer for the first half of the century.

Google- The search engine

GOOGLE -
The most popular search engine in market . The search engine is registered in the minds of the internet users so that it takes atleast 2 or 3 decades for another search engine to remove Google and catch its place . On other words u can say that its almost impossible for another search engine to compete with Google. Almost each and every thing (the oldest and the newest) information can be fetched through Google search .
I heard that the google team traces the user and finds the topics the user searches for and sends the related links to the user so that he is impressed .. Fo example if you are searching for a job today using ur google id, the next time when u login you may find some mails that have come to your google mail id related to the topic you searched the previous time. Its one of the concepts that made google popular.
Also its one of the pages that each and every internet user would have viewed. The first thing a new user know about internet is about the web page "www.google.com" . And thats enough to know about the popularity gained by google in the midst of the world .. There are a lots of search engines, still none competes with google. To be precise they all just try for the second spot in search engine rankings, wher as Google is a long way ahead of the other search engines.
I have been using internet for the past 10 yrs. Whenever i login to the internet i surely would have opened the Google page atleast once. When i was new to thi internet world the first page i was asked to open is the google.. Now i'm bit familiar with the internet and when i taught my brother who was 8 yrs younger than me, the page i asked to open is also Google. Probably my child too would start with google while entering to the internet world. Thanks for the service provided by the Google.

bachna ae haseeno

It’s no wonder rapper Snoop Dogg and actor Sylvester Stallone have flocked to Mumbai for cameo rolls in Bollywood’s sleepless cinema factory. The production values are skyrocketing—what with a hop to Capri and a skip to the Swiss Alps. Add to the blank-check budget a fan base well stocked and willing to get their paws on the supplemental paraphernalia beyond the picture, and you’ve got yourself a venerable industry. Bachna Ae Haseeno will not disappoint those who are craving for some loop in their fruit. A playboy yanks the love strings completely from two buxom babes before getting a bad dose of his own medicine when trying to court a third. Despite the sap spewing from this maple, it will delight sweet-tooth auds near and far; even compelling them to fork-up a couple bucks for the soundtrack.
It takes only a few seconds into the titles to begin the first choreographed music spectacular. Our main man Raj (Ranbir Kapoor), a glorified video game creator, sports a glittery fedora while doing a bronco stampede dance with a harem of female backups dressed in fishnet stockings writhing close with extra pelvic thrusts. Their attire changes with the beat from no-mercy getups a la ’80s neon to Las Vegas disco. At one point, Raj is breakdancing, and you think you’re watching a recreation of Ozone in Breakin’. Then the number ends, and it’s into the story we go. Raj stands before a postcard view along the Italian Riviera and narrates in almost a whisper: “I am a killer.” It takes a while before you realize that the word killer is not going to unreel a story about cloak-and-dagger tactics but lady-killing. It’s present time, and our hushed narrator in his white Elvis duds and aviators is a killer because he woos big-chested women with hearts of gold and leaves them dying at the stake for even a last glance.
There’s Mahi (Minissha Lamba), a youth of privilege who’s Euro-tripping with her family on a train. At 18, Raj is doing the same and chasing tail to boot with his three mates. Ultimately, the two make eyes, and after Mahi misses a train, the two are going by moped through the Swiss Alps to catch-up with her family in Zurich. Love blossoms on a bench, and the two lock lips. The downside is Mahi’s already fixed to be married to another. Raj still pursues her by stealing some chocolate truffles and writing a poem on toilet paper. Such the romantic! The montage sequence layered over a catchy tune where the pair are playing in a soccer match and racing in the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race all impress the fact that this guy travels far and fast despite his penniless status. Soon enough, the Romeo blows it by bragging lies about their affair and is caught in the act.
No matter. He’s got a chance to crumble another heart years later when he meets his next-door neighbor, this stunner named Radhika (Bipasha Basu), and puts on the charm. Soon enough, the two are intersecting at the mailbox and in the elevator, borrowing sugar for coffee. After Raj’s career gets a leg up, he must move to Sydney, Australia, he’s in a world of hurt to determine how to break it easy to his live-in girlfriend. He tries to do so through conversation, and she instead wants to get married. Cue the toilet flushing and plate-crashing sound effects. (These corny effects are repeated whenever things go south.) All attempts to wiggle out of the relationship backfire. Wedding bells hover and clearly Raj is not the marrying type. In Sydney, the video-game biz is flourishing, but Raj’s romance is floundering. Takes a wisecracking taxi driver, who happens to be a knockout named Gayatri (Deepika Padukone) to trip up the Indian Don Juan. When all his moves are proved tired, Raj goes for the gusto and tries to win over Gayatri.
The take on an old story of love thrice gotten and lost almost as many times is well and good. Raj goes back to appease the victims he ran over with his love cruiser without even glancing the rearview. Now fallen from grace, his conscience has kicked in and he gives a hoot. Raj promises at one point, “I never want to hurt anybody again.” Seeing him grovel and become a love guru so fast is a hard sell. But this is Bollywood, mind you. Fantasy flows through the water supply.
It’s nice to see a lead whose not injecting human growth hormone between takes. His frame is that of a Joe who sips a beer from time to time instead of Creatine. Then again, Raj is just your average video-game techie boasting voluptuous babes pining for his love and affection. The musical acts during montages are eclectic for this fare—a gondola carries lovers through canals, a deserted beach for two lovers, hip clubs where the revealing outfits the girls wear get the Hollywood treatment. It’s all quite flashy and tight.
In the case of this picture, it’s crucial to look at it with a measuring instrument taking into account the humorous elements and lovestruck plot. Yes, the thing can seem a bit hokey. The lead hunk is trying awfully hard to be this man of mystery. In some ways, he pulls it off. Could be his slick dance moves or the notion that there is good chemistry amongst the cast. You allow the extended music-video soap opera to carry on with its bouncy-ball plot without grabbing at it to stay still. It’s a well-balanced sauce with enough frills and not enough cheese to overwhelm the palette. And despite the long length (over two and a half hours) the film moves.
Director Siddharth Anand had a vision for this film and really took patient paces to mold together a witty and jubilant bit of cinema. The musical tracks keep the head bobbing, and the story has a universal theme that’s easy to grasp no matter how fast the subtitles move. It’s as if time stops, and you just get to play along with this ensemble of beautiful people (some perhaps got a little help from the science of silicon) who are trying to get to reach euphoria. The scenario of boy meets girl (in this case three girls) and finds something special, albeit through plying for scruples in each case, is old but happens to get a new coat in this film. Does the guy have this much sway with gals in real life? You have to doubt that. But at least on the big screen, the guy can have it all and smooch every girl he wants, have the cushy job, and however many times he falls, he still finds romance in the end. A film that can deliver this kind of escape deserves praise. And it will get it.

Farewell to Indian left handed legacy

The sunset was warm and glowing. Sourav Ganguly chose a good day to be his last as an international cricketer. It didn’t seem for a while that he had the choice but, like he has so often done, he created the opportunity and having done so, didn’t let go. And so a fine batsman has gone when still good, when still scoring runs.

Many epitaphs have been written. Sport can be fulfilling and yet cruel for epitaphs are written about men in their mid-thirties. Not surprisingly, Ganguly the captain has received as much space as Ganguly the man who competed with god through the off-side. In a sense that was inevitable for despite several fine moments with the bat, especially in one-day cricket where he was one of the greats, his legacy as captain is greater.

For those who value the here and now, and for those not yet converted to this game eight years ago, Indian cricket was in much strife in 2000. Some people had stopped trusting the outcome of cricket matches, Tendulkar had pulled out of the captaincy, India had been demolished in Australia and vanquished by South Africa at home. Somebody needed to grab public imagination; draw back the believers in exile. It was in such times that Sourav Ganguly became captain of India. In the next four years Indian cricket grew strong and proud but more importantly, renewed its bonds with the faithful who make it what it is. Many great innings were played in that period, fine spells were bowled, but the buck stopped at the leader. Ganguly was an excellent war-time general.

Along the way some matches were lost and many were won. But nothing quite defined Ganguly’s reign as much as that moment on the Lord’s balcony. He claims to be embarrassed by it and that is a strange admission. It was spontaneous and representative of a new generation. Young men watching it said “yes” not because it was the done thing to do but because they were part of a generation that had the confidence to give as good as they got. Ganguly on the balcony at Lord’s became a symbol; maybe like Lagaan did. It was also, come to think of it, what Ganguly was all about; not rude and disrespectful but defiant and increasingly confident.

Somewhere along the way though, an impression was sought to be created that Ganguly was more instinctive than cerebral; that he just did and didn’t think. The instinct of a fool counts for little and it is only a qualified man that can back a hunch. In most cases instinct is derived from study anyway. But even that impression was flawed as I discovered when he accepted my invitation to do a business show on CNBC. Ganguly was on the show along with B Muthuraman, the head of Tata Steel and he spoke beautifully about leadership; about separating his role as a batsman from that of a captain, about how to inspire confidence in youngsters and about mistakes that leaders can make.

“The best captains get it right seven times out of ten,” he said. “I think I get it right five times out of ten. But I know, even when I get it wrong, that my team believes I was wrong in trying to be right.” This was in 2004 when he was probably the best man to have led India onto a cricket ground, certainly in the years since I started watching seriously. That is about as far as a leader can go; when a team grants a leader his mistakes because it believes they were committed in the desire to be right.

It is tempting to argue that Ganguly should have played longer. But just as nobody knows when the stock markets peak and when they hit a bottom, so too it is with people. The highs often attain that status later and things are rarely as bad as they seem while they are happening. Who knows what the future would have held for Ganguly for his life has rarely been predictable.

He has chosen a good moment; one that in days to come we will remember with warmth rather than sadness.
